Hey there, amazing community! Welcome back to another exciting devlog where we dive into the latest updates, features, and behind-the-scenes happenings in the world of Project Knockback. We’ve got some thrilling news to share, including new enemies, weapons, visual enhancements, and more. Your feedback and support continue to shape the game, and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on. So, let’s jump right in!
Get ready to face off against the Funky Fencers! These quirky foes wield oversized foam fingers that pack a punch when they poke you. They add a hilarious yet challenging twist to your battles. Use their foam finger to launch your enemies! Can you out-fence the Funky Fencers?
Say hello to the Blunderbuss , our newest weapon! This beast uses dead and detached enemy parts to wreak havoc on their friends. We initially created a 'body part bow', but decided the Blunderbuss fit the theme better and would be more fun. Watch as chaos ensues when you fire off body parts at your enemies!
Introducing the moving saw hazard! This deadly new obstacle will shred you or your enemies to bits if you’re not careful. Keep an eye out for these menacing saws and avoid getting knocked into them. More environmental hazards are coming soon, so stay tuned!
As you can see in the gifs above, we’ve made several visual improvements to make the game even more immersive:
